DAY 1: NAIROBI – SAMBURU
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the airport/ Hotel at 6 am. In the office, you will be given a tour briefing (pre-departure meeting) of the safari after which you will be driven north past the equator through rugged and dramatic landscape to the northern frontier district with lunch en route. Proceed on your journey towards the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve via car. After arriving, you’ll go on an evening game drive in the hopes of seeing buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other plains animals. The Beisa oryx, the long-necked Gerenuk, the Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe, and the blue-sharked Somali ostrich are among the game species that are exclusive to the Samburu game reserve. You will head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay following your wildlife drive.

DAY 2: SAMBURU FULL DAY
Following breakfast today, you will head off for a full day of game viewing in Samburu with your picnic lunch boxes. Together with your picnic lunch break, you will enjoy morning and afternoon wildlife drives in the reserve, which is also home to the third and rarest giraffe species in Kenya—the Reticulated Giraffe, which is only found in the northern parks. The straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle, and the blue-legged Somali ostrich can all be seen here. After your wildlife drive in the evening, head back to your lodge for dinner and the night.

DAY 3: SAMBURU – NAIROBI
Early morning game drive in the reserve. Later, return to the Lodge for breakfast and thereafter drive back to Nairobi with lunch on the way. Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or to the airport.
