7 days Mt Kilimanjaro climbing - Shira route
Day 1: Moshi / Shira hut
Leave hotel after breakfast to shira gate, all the way driving. After we finish with the park gate, start hiking to shira plateau for 4hrs, dinner and over night in the camp.[3000m]
7 Days Mt Kilimanjaro Climb - Machame Route
Day 1: Nairobi - Arusha
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and thereafter depart for Arusha via Namanga border town for immigration formalities. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at an Arusha hotel.
7 days Mt Kilimanjaro climbing - RONGAI (OLOITOKITOK) ROUTE
This used to be the route used by the Outward Bound Mountain School at Oloitokitok in Kenya. The border is open during daylight hours but all park fees and arrangements must be made (via an agent) at the Marangu Gate before starting on the route. It is possible to arrange transport from Marangu to Naremoru / Rongai. Only a limited number of groups are allowed on the route at any time and it may not be used in descent.
There are several big caves along the route, these are used by porters and tents should be carried. The "Outward Bound School" Hut is privately owned, no water or firewood in the vicinity. Allow 8 days for the traverse.
7 days Mt Kilimanjaro Climbing Umbwe route
A very strenuous walk up steep, slippery paths with many fallen trees to negotiate. The middle section follows a narrow spectacular ridge with magnificent views of the Great Barranco and Southern Icefields.
The Arrow Glacier/Western breach ascends is closed until further notice. Unfortunately four hikers were fatally injured (during December 2005) due to unpredictable rock falls on this ascend route. For the moment, please consider one of the other ascend routes which all offers an amazing experience. We will inform as soon as the route re-opens. Remember your safety is our main concern.
7 days Mt Kilimanjaro Climbing Lemosho route
This is the longest and most remote route to Kilimanjaro. After beautiful forests and moorlands it crosses the Shira Plateau to meet up with the Machame Route. Groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are rich in buffalo, elephant and other game. The South Circuit is then followed, offering superb views of the Southern Icefields, past the Barranco Hut then on to Barafu and hence the summit. Descent is by the Mweka Route.

Day 1: Nairobi - Arusha
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and thereafter, depart for Arusha arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon organising any gear you require for the trek. Overnight at your Arusha hotel.
8 days Mt Kilimanjaro Climbing Muchame-Mweka route
A very direct and fast way down the mountain providing limited views across the Southern Glaciers. The track in the forest is often impassable even to 4WD vehicles. Beyond the roadhead the path is steep and slippery in parts. Above the Mweka Huts water must be carried. Sometimes a long walk is required at the Barafu Hut to find snow or ice for water.
Day 1:
Depart Nairobi by shuttle bus for Moshi via Namanga border post. After going through the Immigration office, you proceed on to Arusha where you get a brief stop over for lunch. Later proceed on to Moshi arriving by 4 p.m. Overnight at the spring land hotel on B/B basis.
